Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+ is the low-cost variant of the original Raspberry Pi. It introduced the 40-pin GPIO header, a push-push microSD socket and lower power consumption in a smaller board than the Model B.

It remains in production for products and projects designed around it; for new work, a Raspberry Pi Zero or a newer model offers far more performance.
