Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to work. They are set without asking, as the law allows, and hold no tracking or advertising data.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| huk_basket | Identifies your basket while you shop as a guest. Removed when you sign in (the basket moves to your account). | 90 days |
| huk_session | Keeps you signed in to your account. The session ends after 30 days without use. | Until you sign out |
| huk_consent | Remembers your cookie choice from this page or the banner. | 6 months |
Preferences stored in your browser
Your light or dark theme (huk-theme), whether prices show including or excluding VAT (huk-vat) and the grid or list layout of product listings (huk-view) are kept in your browser’s local storage, not in cookies. They never leave your device and are removed when you clear your browsing data.
Analytics cookies
We don’t set any analytics cookies at the moment. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in future, it will only run if you have switched analytics cookies on above, and this page will list its cookies.
Third parties
When you pay, you are taken to our payment provider’s page (Stripe), which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment. They are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy. No third-party cookies are set on this site itself.
Managing cookies
Use the settings at the top of this page to change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the site won’t work without the essential ones: your basket and sign-in depend on them.
