Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website.

Last updated 6 October 2026

Our commitment

Hossam-UK Ltd wants as many people as possible to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means you should be able to:

  • navigate every page with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
  • zoom to 400% without content being cut off, and use the site on a 320px-wide screen;
  • use a screen reader: images have text alternatives, forms have labels, and errors are announced next to the field;
  • choose a light or dark theme, and read prices with or without VAT;
  • pause the home page slideshow, which also respects your “reduce motion” setting.

How accessible this website is

We test with keyboard navigation, browser zoom and automated checks on every release, and check the layout at phone and desktop sizes. We know some parts are not yet fully accessible:

  • Some product images from manufacturers have generic alternative text (the product name) rather than a description of the picture.
  • PDF invoices are generated documents and have not been checked with a screen reader yet.

We last reviewed the site in October 2026 with automated checks in the light and dark themes and with a keyboard. It has not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
