Your statutory rights
Everything we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015). If it isn’t, you can reject it within 30 days for a refund; after that we’ll repair or replace it, and refund you if neither is possible. Nothing on this page limits those rights.
Manufacturer warranties
Most products carry a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The period and conditions are set by the manufacturer and shown on the product page where we have them.
Warranties cover faults that arise in normal use. They don’t cover damage from incorrect voltage or polarity, static discharge, soldering, modification, water, drops, or use outside the manufacturer’s ratings. Consumable items such as batteries and soldering tips have a shorter life and aren’t covered once worn.
Making a claim
- Contact us with your order number, the product and a description of the fault. Photos or a short video help us diagnose it quickly.
- We may suggest checks first: many “faults” are a power supply, a cable or a software setting.
- If the item needs to come back, we’ll give you a returns reference and a prepaid label.
- We test the item within five working days of receiving it and repair, replace or refund it as appropriate.
Repairs
We don’t repair products ourselves; faulty items are replaced or sent to the manufacturer under warranty. Out-of-warranty items can usually be returned to the manufacturer’s own repair service; we’ll point you to it.
Keep your invoice
Your VAT invoice is your proof of purchase for any claim. It’s attached to your order confirmation and can be downloaded from the order page at any time, or from your account.
