The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT powers your Raspberry Pi through its Ethernet cable from a PoE+ switch or injector, so one cable carries both data and power. It works with Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+.

A 25mm brushless fan keeps the processor cool. Power-sourcing equipment is required, such as the Raspberry Pi PoE+ Injector.

Ethernet	Connecting your PoE+ HAT to your Raspberry Pi
Ethernet	Before installing the PoE+ HAT, you must attach the supplied spacers in the four corners of the board
Ethernet	Then connect the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT to the two 0.1" headers (40 + 4) that are fitted on your Raspberry Pi
Ethernet	Once the PoE+ HAT board is connected, you can power your Raspberry Pi through its RJ45 network connector
